GRIDX: THE INAUGURATION OF A UNIQUE MULTI-EXPERIENCE DESTINATION IN EUROPE
Wickrange, Luxembourg – 18 September 2025
A visionary project comes to life after more than ten years of design
It is not a shopping center. It is not a temple of mobility. It is not a museum. GRIDX is much more than that: it is a multi-experience destination unlike any other in Europe, where art, mobility, gastronomy, innovation, business and leisure come together under one roof. After more than a decade of construction work overseen by Luxembourg construction giant Felix Giorgetti, the 42,000 sqm complex in Wickrange is officially opening its doors today.
“We wanted to create a place where people don't just come to consume, but to enjoy experiences that leave a lasting impression,” explains Alex Giorgetti, Head of Operations. “Here, an entrepreneur can have a meeting in our co-working spaces, lunch at the TASTE Food Hall, visit the Ayrton Senna exhibition, and end their day with a concert in the Event Hall – all without leaving the site.”
With a gradual opening scheduled until spring 2026, GRIDX is slowly revealing its many facets. “Each phase reveals a new dimension of the project, and we still have a few surprises in store”, adds Stéphanie Schleich, Head of Marketing and Communication.
An ecosystem already in motion
Visitors can now explore the first spaces to open, which already feature 22 brands and services: from the TASTE Food Hall and its 15 world cuisines to the Car Protect Center, engelhorn Sports for sports fashion enthusiasts and Boom! Karaoke for evenings with friends. The NOTO Hotel, with its 133 designer rooms, is already welcoming its first guests, while the Business Center, with its 13 modular rooms and co-working space, is attracting professionals looking for an inspiring environment.
The automobile as a common thread
At the heart of the project, a consuming passion for automotive culture is brought to life through several dedicated spaces. The highlight of the show will come in November with the opening of GALLERIA 610, the automotive museum, which will host an exceptional exhibition entitled Ayrton Senna Forever in partnership with MAUTO in Turin.
“We will be presenting unique items, from legendary single-seaters to personal archives that have never been shown to the public before”, explains Alex Giorgetti.
The complex also houses a car concierge service with 58 air-conditioned “glass boxes” for exceptional vehicles, and prestigious dealerships such as Alpine, Bentley, Merbag and Ducati. Sustainable transport is also well represented with MyWays and Loisibike.
An ambitious opening schedule
The rollout of GRIDX will continue until 2026 with new openings almost every month. In October, 10 new brandswill be added to the offering, including Hedonist (a joint venture between Caves Wenger and Domaines Bernard-Massard). November will mark the arrival of GIOLABS (immersive experiences) and the Jane restaurant, while January 2026 will see the opening of the KORU Health Club, a wellness space designed by athlete Pola Giorgetti. The project will reach its peak in March 2026 with the opening of the engelhorn department store (5,000 sqm dedicated to premium fashion and lifestyle) and Natur' Store.
A strategic European crossroads
Ideally located in Wickrange, just 11 minutes from Luxembourg City and 20 minutes from Findel Airport, GRIDX is positioning itself as a new regional hub.
“Our exceptional location, at the intersection of the A13 and A4 motorways, makes it accessible from all over Europe”, says Alex Giorgetti. “We aim to become a must-visit destination for both Luxembourgers and international visitors”, he adds.
With its unique blend of workspaces, leisure activities, culture and gastronomy, GRIDX is redefining the codes of modern destinations. “We are neither a shopping center, nor a hotel, nor a museum”, sums up Alex Giorgetti. “We are all of these things at once, and much more besides.”
